As you are married for a longer time, things in the bedroom have a way of getting stale. This is especially true if you have children and feel that you have to hurry every time you two have a minute of alone time together. You can easily find yourself in a situation where everything seems robotic, and you go through the motions.
Ask each other what they have been dreaming about doing in the bedroom. You can always try surprising your partner, don't be alarmed if they say it's something they don't want to try. It's okay to say no in the bedroom, and each of you needs to be comfortable saying it.

As a couple, you need to be aware that sometimes your decisions will cause problems. It's important not to make a mountain out of a molehill and only focus on the issues threatening your relationship. That said, if you do feel that you are in the wrong, admit it. Just apologize when you know that you've done something wrong and there's no excuse. Swallowing your pride and being honest with yourself can go a long way to repairing your relationship. Also, if you're right in an argument, don't gloat about how you were right. Avoid the temptation to brag about how correct you are or how clever you've been.

Sending a "good morning" text, saying "I love you," and telling your spouse how much they mean to you every day is an easy way to make your spouse feel loved.
It's easy to get caught up in the minutiae of daily life. Carpools, job duties, children's schedules, social commitments, and household responsibilities quickly consume each day. It is easy to forget that there are people in our lives who we love. There is nothing like a loving gesture to make someone feel special and remind them how much you love them.
