Need a great date idea? How about doing family history? This can be a good date activity for you and your spouse. Prices for this activity are usually free.

A family history date can be a fun way to spend time with your husband or wife.

Your family history is far more interesting than what you believe. Your local library might have a genealogy department where you and your spouse can research your family. If not, then turn to the internet. Who knows, you might find out that there's someone famous in your family. The further you go back, the more opportunity you have to find someone interesting. Take turns researching the other's family and see what pops up. If you locate some relatives that you don't know that live near you, maybe visit them. It would be interesting to meet people in your family that you never knew existed. Or try interviewing the oldest members in your family and learn about their lives and see how they relate (or don't relate) to your own.
