Karaoke is an instant hit if you're the type who loves to have a good time and consider yourself a music lover. You and your spouse will be smiling and laughing up a storm while the two of you sing your favorite songs. Sometimes the best karaoke sessions are when you mess up the song so bad that you can't stop laughing while trying to sing. If you're too shy to sing at a karaoke bar, watch everyone else while they give it a shot. You can also buy the equipment and have fun at home. You can download tracks from the internet to create all kinds of karaoke-themed fun.

Enjoying the great outdoors while being out on the water is what kayaking is all about. You can either both be in the same kayak or go down the stream in separate kayaks. Kayaking takes very little skill, and even an outdoor novice can get the hang of it in a mere matter of minutes. Kayaking is an excellent form of exercise; it enables you to be close to nature and spend time with your spouse. For the ultimate kayaking date, go exploring, pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic while out in the middle of nowhere.

A kickball game with your spouse will immediately send you back to the days when you were in school. Be creative and come up with your own rules while playing kickball. You can take turns kicking the ball or turn it into a game like soccer. Take your ball and go to the park and enjoy some fun in the sun. If you take a picnic or some snacks, you can turn your kickball game into an outdoor extravaganza. It's always nice to spend some quality time with the person you love outside, and doing something healthy is a bonus.

Kite flying gets you outside and enjoying being in the great outdoors. If you don't know how to assemble a kite, you can buy them already built online or at your local kite shop. You will need to go to a park or a place that is far away from power lines. A football field works great, but any place with access to the sky will work. You can take turns flying the same kite, or each of you can have your own kite. Try to get the kite as high as you can without it flying away from you. You need a little wind for kite flying to be fun so check your weather forecast first. Winds of 5 or 10 mph work great.
Sports
Kitesurfing is one of those sports that is a pure adrenaline rush. If you're the type of couple who likes to live life on the edge, then kitesurfing is right up your alley. For those of you who may not know, kitesurfing is where you surf while holding onto a big kite. It's far more exciting than you can imagine and you've probably seen people at the beach doing it. If you live near the beach, then you don't have to go far to go kitesurfing. If not, consider a two-day weekend date getaway where you fly to a sunny beach destination to do a little kitesurfing. Don't forget to make videos of your kitesurfing adventure so you can someday share your date with your grandkids.
Hobbies
A relaxing date at home of knitting is more fun than it probably sounds. You and your spouse can make a variety of things with nothing more than a few knitting needles and some yarn. You can knit a blanket to keep you warm in the winter. You could also knit a sweater. You might even consider donating your date night knitting stuff to charity or sell it online on eBay or Etsy. No matter what you do with the final product, you'll enjoy spending time with the person you love while enabling your creative side to flourish.
