With an audiobook, both of you can listen to it at the same time. Why not have one night a week where you sit down and listen to an audiobook together? You could also make it a part of your drive during your other dates together. Have some snacks ready and get comfy on the couch and spend time enjoying a good story. It will be worth the audiobook's cost if the two of you can enjoy each other's company. If you have a few hours per week to have an audiobook date, you might finish a book or two a month.
