Drawing on the sidewalk with chalk is so much fun, and you can do it just about anywhere. The great thing about sidewalk chalk is that you can easily wash it away or wait for the rain to make your artwork disappear. You can have a sidewalk chalk drawing date on the sidewalk outside of where you live, you can do it at the park, or anywhere where there is a big slab of cement. Make sure that you have your smartphone handy to take pictures of your sidewalk art and share them online with your friends and family. If you can find sidewalk chalk artists near you be sure to check out their artwork and be amazed at what you can create with just a few sticks of chalk.

Every town, big or small, has places where a couple can go sightseeing. Are you into old homes? Maybe you and your spouse are the types who like to go for a drive in the country. Big cities offer sight seeing attractions such as shopping districts, areas with old buildings, and hipster attractions. Sometimes the best sightseeing adventures are those where you discover new places in the city you live in. Areas of historical value are fun and educational places to visit. If you live in a touristy area, there might be tours you can take with guides who will educate you along the way.

Skateboarding is the type of date that you will never forget for as long as you live. Riding a skateboard is difficult, but there are so many different things that you can do while standing on the board. Watch a few YouTube videos to get ideas on what type of tricks beginners can do on skateboards. It will take you a little time to get used to the feeling of the wheels under your feet as you go down the sidewalk. It might be a good idea to hold each other's hands, in the beginning, to learn how to balance yourself on the skateboard. For the sake of having a safe date, you may want to invest in at least a helmet and/or some kneepads to protect yourself from falling.
Fun & Games
A date at the local arcade playing skee-ball is not only a great time, but it's also inexpensive as well. Pace yourself and have a blast while you rack up points and maybe even tickets depending on where you're playing skee-ball. If the arcade gives out tickets, that's even better because then you can cash them in for a date night memento. Allow your competitive spirits to gain control and see who can get the highest score in skee-ball. It's surprising how much fun the simple game of skee-ball is, and it could end up being a regular date night activity.
Sports
Couples who love to shoot guns will have a lot of fun skeet shooting. Your local gun range might offer skeet shooting for members. If you don't belong to a gun range or a gun club, skeet shooting is something that you can do by yourself. Don't be surprised if the two of you rarely hit any of the clay pigeons if you're not marksmen. The fun here isn't to see how many you can shoot, but to spend time with each other. Go back and forth and give each other the chance to practice shooting and provide tips on how to improve the accuracy of the shot. Be sure to take a class on gun safety first if you aren't experienced in shooting.
Sports
Snow skiing is an excellent way for a married couple to enjoy winter together. Hitting the slopes is a fun way to get a healthy dose of excitement in your lives. Also, going to a resort is a fun way to take a weekend trip and enjoy yourselves. There's something extra fun about going into a resort for a cup of hot chocolate after you've been out in the cold. If you really want to have a good time, race while going down the hill. You'll end up having several races because the loser won't want to stay the loser for long. Before the two of you know it, you'll both have gone down the hill several times, and the day will be all but over.
Fun & Games
Every now and then, everyone needs to let their hair down and have a little old-fashioned fun. A skipping stones date allows you to do just that, and it's so incredibly relaxing. How exactly do you skip stones? First you find some small, flat rocks, they'll skip across the water best. Once you have a good rock to toss out there, try to throw it hard and fast, at a low angle (as parallel to the water as possible). This will allow you to skip them across the water. Ponds and lakes work best for skipping stones, and you'll get the hang of it after a while. You'll be surprised by how many times you can get the stone to skip across the water. It won't be long until you're able to skip the stone a pretty far distance. For added fun, have a competition to see who can get the most skips in, get the highest skip, skip the largest rock, etc.
Sports
The thrill of being high in the sky and jumping out of a plane is something that the two of you will never forget. A skydiving date is one that you'll always remember. If it's your first time jumping out of a plane, you'll probably have to jump with instructors. Skydiving is an adrenaline junkie's dream come true, and it also gives you a view of the planet that most people never see. The period of free-floating is one of the most beautiful things a person can experience, and you'll get to share it with the person you love the most.
Fun & Games
The reason why sledding is such a great date idea is that you don't need anything fancy to do it. All you need is a sled, some snow, and a hill. If you have those three things, you have all the ingredients necessary for a great sledding experience. It's fun to sled together or go down the hill separately. By the time you are at the foot of the hill you'll be smiling and belting out all kinds of laughter. If you want to go all out on your sledding date, fill a thermos full of hot chocolate and have a sweet treat that will warm your bones after being outside in the cold.
Sports
Snorkeling is a great way to explore shallow waters with your spouse. Coral reefs, for example, are beautiful places where two people can enjoy themselves. Go down into the water with a game plan to see as many fish as you can. Turn your snorkeling adventure into a game by trying to spot a specific type of fish while you're down there. Go over a few hand gestures before you down so that you're able to communicate with each other while you're underwater. The best areas for snorkeling are those with clean waters and plenty of wildlife.
Fun & Games
If it's wintertime and there's plenty of snow on the ground, it's time for a snowball fight! How can you look at all that snow and not want to pack it into a ball and throw it at your spouse? If you really want to have a fantastic snowball fight date, fill up a thermos full of hot chocolate to drink while you're outside. Take a break from trying to hit each other with snowballs and drink a cup of hot chocolate and warm your bones. Nothing tastes better than a steaming cup of hot chocolate when there's snow on the ground.
Sports
Hit the slopes and go down them together while snowboarding. Snowboarding is indeed something that you can only do during certain times of the year. But you can also take a short vacation and hit the powder that way too. Going down a mountain while on a snowboard is one of the most exciting things you'll ever experience. You will want to do it all over again by the time you're at the bottom of the hill. Watching each other's faces as you go down the mountain will offer many priceless memories since no one can hide their excitement while snowboarding.
Fun & Games
Building a snowman is a great wintertime date that will create memories that will last a lifetime. Decorate your snowman with all types of festive apparel, and don't forget to give him a carrot nose. Keep your smartphone handy so that you can snap a few pictures of the snowman to share on social media and remember your wintery date. If you really want to have a splendid snowman building date, have a cup of hot chocolate and a few cookies waiting for you after being done outside. Nothing warms your bones like a cup of hot chocolate, and a few cookies are the best way to end your date on a sweet note.
Eclectic
Snowmobiling is a date that you can do only when there is ample snow on the ground. However, if you're up for a road trip, you can always travel to wherever there's snow. The fun of snowmobiling is that you get to enjoy the outdoors during a time when it's beautiful. The sun will sparkle off the snow, and driving a snowmobile is a lot of fun. You can either ride the same snowmobile and take turns driving, or each drive your own. If you own your own snowmobiles that's great, otherwise you'll have to find a place to borrow or rent them. Put some hot chocolate in a thermos to warm your bones and turn your snowmobiling date into a true winter wonderland activity.
Sports
Going to a soccer game can be a really fun thing to do on a date with your spouse. No one gets more excited about their team, than soccer fans do. If you have never been to a soccer game in person before, be prepared to hear lots of cheering from passionate fans every time something happens on the field. Soccer is a fast-paced game that can leave you feeling mesmerized by all of the action. Try your best to help each other follow the action on the field so that you know what's going on as it happens.
Sports
A soccer date can be a head to head battle, or you can just kick the ball around. Playing soccer is great exercise, and it also gets you out of the house. Soccer is one of those games that's easy to play but difficult to master. You can have several soccer dates and still have something to learn. Take your soccer ball, go to the park, and have fun kicking it around. Try to learn some footwork or soccer tricks. Bring along with you some water, sports drinks, and a sack lunch and turn it into a date and a picnic.
Sports
Some believe that watching soccer on TV is better than being in the stands among all the rowdy fans. Turning watching soccer on television into a date is a fantastic idea for those who consider themselves to be a fanatic of the sport as well as those new to it. Your dates don't have only to be sitting in front of the television; you can also prepare a special meal or make homemade snacks such as chips and salsa to make watching the game even more enjoyable. Since you're watching the big game at home, feel free to yell if your team scores to show your team pride.
Fun & Games
A social media date is more fun than what most people probably realize. The way you turn social media into a date is by sitting next to each other on the couch and taking turns scrolling through your timeline. Do you know what your spouse looks at while on social media? You might learn quite a bit about them if you see what they're up to. Social media is loaded with everything, from humor to politics and everything in between. You might want to start your date with something light-hearted and see where it goes. Pop a bowl of popcorn and see where this date takes you because you never know when it comes to social media.
Health & Wellness
Nothing leaves a couple feeling more relaxed and rejuvenated than going to the spa. You can start things off with a massage. Both guys and gals can enjoy body treatments, massages, and aromatherapy. Couples can have a great time at the spa if you preplan and schedule activities that both of you will enjoy. Pedicures and manicures can also be enjoyable and can leave the two of you with nails that don't make you cringe when you look at them. The two of you will feel like a million bucks after you leave the spa. The conversation after a spa trip always flows so easily since both of you are relaxed.

What is spelunking? Spelunking or caving is where you walk through or explore a cave. Usually, spelunking is done with a group that is led by someone experienced with the cave. Trekking through a cave can be dangerous, so make sure you're prepared and with the right people. The interesting thing about walking in a cave is that you get to walk through the earth's history. It's hard to believe that areas like these exist all over the world beneath our feet. If the cave has a gift shop, you might want to consider buying a souvenir, so you always have something to remember your cave excursion date.
